Gulp your right to vote through 7-Elections


The Philippine national election is just around the corner. As a registered voter, you should already have your picks of your senatorial line up by this time. If, for some reasons, you're still unsure on who to vote for, you may want to do a dry run by heading to any 7-Eleven stores and participate on their 7-Election project.

The 7-Election campaign "is an unscientific and unofficial survey" being conducted by 7-Eleven stores across the country to cast the public's opinion in an upcoming election. This campaign is being done in the "spirit of fun" as voters are being asked to cast their votes online for their senatorial bets and/or choose which political party they're supporting by choosing the Gulp Cup of the three political parties this coming elections - Team PNoy, UNA and the Independent Candidates which is comprise of Bangon Pilipinas, Democratic, Independent, Kapatiran, Makabayan and Social Justice Society.

As of this writing, over 48,563 of candidate votes from 10,669 voters have been recorded online with Ramon Magsaysay Jr. (8.51%), Bro. Eddie Villanueva (7%), Ed Hagedorn (5.38%), Dick Gordon (5.37%), Teddy Casino (4.78%) and Chiz Escudero (4.73%) leading the first half of the list.

Team PNoy senatorial bets fill in the rest of the list with Riza Hontiveros (4.59%), Alan Peter Cayetano (4.33%), Antonio Trillanes IV (3.96%), Loren Legarda (3.92%), Koko Pimentel (3.81%) and Bam Aquino (3.74%).

Bottom six losers are Samson Alcantara (1.23%), Lito David (1.19%), Bal Falcone (1.10%), Christian Seneres (1.06%), Mon Montano (0.86%) and Tingting Cojuangco (0.86%).

As for the political parties, you can check the results per area online so you'll know who's party is on the lead in your city or municipality.

This unofficial election tally is surely a fun way to spark the voters interest in participating this coming elections.
