Iron Man 2 Movie Review

I am very lucky to watch the screening of Iron Man 2 twice! Yeah! Thanks to LG Cookie event and to my fellow blogger, JP Manahan, who won tickets for U92's screening of the movie.

At first, by just merely watching the trailer, I am super excited to watch the movie. The action scenes are the ones that I'm excited to watch.

The story started with Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr., announced in a press conference that he is Iron Man. During the TV broadcast, his villain in this sequel, Ivan Vanko played by Mickey Rourke, is watching the announcement in a telecast in Moscow. Anton Vanko, his father, believed that Starks stole the technology of Iron Man from him.

The story continues to the Senate hearing demanding for Stark's Iron Man to surrender to the US Military as it is considered as a weapon of war. A car race in Monaco followed the succeeding scenes. The scene where Ivan showed slicing all the cars are probably one of the highlights of the movie.

Iron Man 2 is better but it did not surpass it's predecessor for all the action scenes. Scarlett Johansson's (portrayed the role of Natalie Rushman) is something that is worth-watching. Her inclusion in the movie made the sequel more exciting.

Other characters in the movie, Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) did exemplary performances portraying their respective roles. But as other critics say, Iron Man 2 is an action movie so viewers are expecting more action scenes.

Before the movie ended, a surprise after the credits made the viewers and Marvel fanatics excited with the next Marvel superhero to be shown in the widescreen!
