Katrina Halili returns to where she rose to stardom. The sexy actress has been named as FHM Philippines' Sexiest Woman in the World for two consecutive years (2006 and 2007) and after almost a decade, she's finally back and will be gracing the magazine's cover this January 2015.

Katrina Halili started in the GMA-7's talent search StarStruck but it was her stints with FHM Philippines that earned her sexy and kontrabida roles in her home network. She was Black Darna in Angel Locsin's Darna in 2005, Angelika Santibanez in Marian Rivera's MariMar in 2007, Fedra in Carla Abellana's Rosalinda in 2009, and eventually took a lead role in the afternoon drama series Sine Novela Presents Magdusa Ka.

While she was on the right track in terms of her career, she faced the most controversial sex video in 2009 with Dr. Hayden Kho when it was leaked online. A series of legal and emotional battles followed after ending her rising career.

Katrina Halili then gave birth to her daughter with fellow Kapuso artist Kris Lawrence on September 18, 2012. Later this year, their relationship has been put to an end and looks like this triggered her comeback. She was even quoted saying "Kailangan nang bumalik… ‘sleeping beauty’ ako" in a movie conference.

"All the things I went through made me feel na parang ang dami kong ayaw gawin," Katrina said with FHM Philippines. "Dahil sa mga pinagdaanan ko, dumating ako sa point na feeling ko wala akong halaga. Nawala yung self-confidence ko. But I realized that I need to work and I want to work. This cover is more of a reminder, hindi lang para ipakita sa iba, pero para sa sarili ko na rin. It's a reminder to take care of myself more."

Don't forget to get the January 2015 issue of FHM Philippines starting Monday, December 29 on your favorite magazine outlets. A digital copy will also be available via FHM and Buqo apps, Zinio, and the Summit Newsstand.
