Penguins are back at "The Penguins of Madagascar" [Review]

You may remember the penguins in Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, this time Skipper, Rico, Kowalski and Private is back with their own film titled Penguins of Madagascar.

This animated movie revolves on the story on how Skipper, Rico and Kowlaski have met Private which in turn made their adventures more fun. Dave, an octopus with a vendetta against the cuteness of these penguins is the main antagonist in the film. You may empathize with why Dave had that urge to get some revenge on the penguins, but still Penguins are too cute to stay mad on.

With Dave's evil plans, Skipper, Rico, and Kowalski needed help with some friends known as the North Wind which includes Agent Classified, Short Fuse, Corporal and Eva. The two teams are quite the opposite but when combined, they were able to stop and defeat Dave's evil plan to destroy all the cuteness in the world.

Overall, The Penguins of Madagascar imparts moral values which we want our children to absorb and understand. The main value that the movie portrayed was the value of importance. People may seem to undermine the capabilities of others just because o their flaws, but let's keep in mind that everyone has the capability of doing great things.  The movie also depicts the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie.

The movie was a fun one which will surely be enjoyed by your kids. As for adults like me, I was unexpectedly giggling with Dave's punch lines (which you have to watch out for, seriously, it was really funny) and I was also anticipating Benedict Cumberbatch's voice (guess who he voiced over) which was a bit of a surprise from me.

The Penguins of Madagascar is still showing in your nearest cinemas. Bring your kids and have a good hearty laugh as you join Skipper, Rico, Kowalski and Private with their adventures.
