American musician and arranger Scott Bradlee called out Zsa Zsa Padilla's birthday production number in the ABS-CBN Sunday musical variety show ASAP for "ripping off my arrangements and passing them off as their own". Bradlee is known for his viral YouTube videos under the moniker Postmodern Jukebox.

The Divine Diva's performance was inspired by Postmodern Jukebox's work on Taylor Swift's original hit song Blank Space and featured Ariana Savalas.

Fans of the singer-actress tried to back her up by saying that it's not her fault but of the show's production staff. As of this writing, neither ASAP nor Padilla give any comment about this plagiarism issue.

This isn't the first time that local variety shows are taking inspiration from foreign acts for their local productions yet neither ASAP nor its competitor Sunday All Stars acknowledge the original performers and/or arrangers whenever they do so. Looks like our local entertainment industry needs to address this moving forward specially that nowadays, their production numbers can be easily shared online.

Watch the video below of Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox and compare it to Padilla's performance earlier in ASAP:
